All courses offered for credit by sponsors approved by the Board pursuant to Rule .0904 are presumptively qualified for continuing education credit. To become an approved sponsor , the following information must be submitted at least 60 days in advance of the presentation of the course or program:
    1. the completed Sponsor Application
    2. the signed Sponsor Agreement

For your convenience, these forms can be downloaded and sent to the Board office. Upon approval by the Board, you will receive an executed copy of the Sponsor Agreement for your records.

As noted on the Sponsor Agreement, you must retain attendance documentation. However, do not send attendance lists to this office unless requested by the Board.

 APPROVED SPONSORS/COURSES

A registrant may claim contact hours for courses or program that have not been presented by approved sponsors if, in the judgment of the registrant, the program addressed issues in health, safety and welfare. The following list is not exclusive nor does it necessarily include all qualified courses.

The staff of the North Carolina Board of Architecture will not approve or evaluate specific courses. Any questions pertaining to continuing education credits shall be submitted in writing to the Board office for Board review and action.
